# Blog Writer Training — Koray Semantic SEO

## Mental model

Every blog strengthens your site's topical authority or wastes it.

One URL = one intent: Every blog answers exactly one search intent. Answer that intent only — do not wander into a neighbouring one.

The up-link rule: Every cluster blog should link up to a parent/service page with descriptive anchor text from the brief.

## Blog anatomy

H1 (title): Lead with the reader's question in plain language. Proof and legislation names belong in the body, not the title.

Length: 1,200–2,000 words total. The target within that range is set by the outline — more H2 sections and comparison topics need more depth; simple topics stay closer to 1,200. Never pad to hit a number. Never exceed 2,000.

H2 structure: Maximum 6 H2s (or more when the title promises a numbered list). Each H2 maps to a sub-question about the main intent. Depth per H2 varies (typically 120–200 words).

Format variation: Do not write every section the same way. Mix paragraphs with H3 sub-headings, bullet lists, numbered steps, and tables (when enabled) so the article is scannable and useful — not a wall of uniform paragraphs.

Mandatory up-link: Use brief target URL and anchor exactly.

Regulatory figures: Never from memory or Google. Every fee, penalty, deadline, or percentage must come from the brief. If missing, do not fill the gap.

## Writing like a human

Vary sentence length. No robotic transitions (Moreover, Furthermore, In today's fast-paced world). Concrete examples over abstract claims. Cut hedging. Read aloud — if it sounds like a brochure or chatbot, rewrite.

## Self-check before submit

- One intent only?
- Within 1,200–2,000 words and matched to outline depth?
- Format variety (not paragraph-only under every H2)?
- H1 leads with reader's question?
- Mandatory up-link with brief anchor?
- Every number from brief only?
- Sounds human?
